Supacolour Transfers FAQs

The Supacolour transfers are available in various sheet sizes, ranging from 100mm x 100mm – ideal for a large logo on a shirt pocket – to A3 size, which can cover most of the front or back side of a shirt.

To choose the size that suits your needs, please review the Supacolour templates before confirming your order.

The pricing of the design will be based on the size of print and number of placements.

Preferred design formats include any vector file or high-resolution PNG (Portable Network Graphic).

A vector file is constructed from mathematically defined shapes, such as lines and curves, ensuring that the design remains sharp and can be scaled infinitely without loss of quality.

Common vector file types include:

  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • PDF (Portable Document Format)
  • EPS (Encapsulated Postscript)
  • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic)

Understanding these file types might be challenging, so feel free to reach out with any questions, and we’ll be happy to sort you out.

No, you don’t have to provide your own shirts or apparel for printing.

We have direct access to various brands, such as AS Colour, at wholesale costs, making it highly cost-effective to purchase apparel directly through us when placing your screen printing order.

While you are welcome to provide your own shirts, it’s often more economical to buy apparel through Solid Screenprinters.

Heat transfers differ from screen printing as heat transfers first have a design printed onto a Supacolour transfer sheet. The paper is then placed onto the fabric and heat pressed, activating the adhesive and transferring the design from the paper to the fabric. The result is a smooth, colourful and detailed print.

Screen printing involves creating a screen for each colour in the design. Ink is then pushed through the screen onto the fabric. Each colour requires a separate screen, with the process repeating for each colour in the design. The result is a durable and long-lasting print.
